The Senior Telesales Agent conducts selling activities related to inbound calls inquiring about individual health plan products. The role involves handling moderately complex to complex issues, requiring in-depth analysis of situations or data.

Responsibilities include qualifying prospects, attempting to close sales, and handling consumer calls, possibly requiring interpreters or TTY services. May originate calls from leads. Understands departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and begins to influence these strategies. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex technical issues independently and exercises considerable latitude in setting objectives and approaches.

Required Qualifications

• Current Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with full proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
• Ability to connect meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and advocacy
• Ability to simplify complex information and integrate efforts for an optimal customer experience
• Adaptability to learning new software and following call flow processes
• Availability to work any shift between 7:00 am and 2:00 am, including weekends and overtime during peak season (September - December)
• Passion for improving consumer experiences and managing stressful situations

• Language proficiency assessments are required for associates speaking languages other than English, as mandated by the Federal Government.

Compensation

The estimated annual pay range is $48,800 to $65,900, with potential for incentives based on performance.
