Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for Purchasing Agents in the Downtown Area of San Antonio, TX for IMMEDIATE HIRE!

Pay Rate: $22.68

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-2pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following list describes the general scope of work for the position. Additional responsibilities, duties, and skills may be required and assigned as needed. Regular attendance and presence in the work environment are essential.

1. Receive and process purchase requisitions from all organizations, determining whether purchases are from current contracts or if vendors need to be solicited.
2. Attend vendor fairs and expos.
3. Obtain price quotes from vendors and order commodities requested by the organizational unit.
4. Prepare solicitation documents (RFP, IFB, etc.) and manage procurement from advertising through contract award.
5. Create bid tabulations and scoring matrices from responses submitted.
6. Evaluate bids and make recommendations for awards.
7. Maintain logs, records, reports, and filing systems, including correspondence, requisitions, and purchase orders.
8. Communicate with vendors, representatives, Opportunity Home San Antonio staff, and maintenance personnel regarding service requests, purchases, price quotes, and disputes via in person, mail, email, or telephone.
9. Assist in administering the P-Card program, including training, reporting, and record keeping.
10. Train Opportunity Home San Antonio staff on procurement policies and the JDE Procurement Module processes.
11. Assist with the disposal of surplus, excess, or salvage property.
12. Perform due diligence on new vendors and contract awardees.
13. Prepare documentation and information for the Board of Commissioners’ approval memos.
