About the Company : Our client, a reputable organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join their team.

Overview : The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires the necessary goods and services at the best possible prices. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a database of approved vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers.
• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications :

• 1 year of experience in Purchasing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
