The Marriott Lincolnshire Resort in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor in the Food & Beverage department. You will manage ordering and receiving for meat, seafood, dairy, dry goods, beverages, and related supplies, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors within budget.
Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, supervising invoices, assisting with cash reconciliations, and supporting the F&B Director in operational and financial processes.

The food and beverage purchasing supervisor is primarily responsible for the ordering and receiving of all products used in the food and beverage department. Including, meat, seafood, dairy, dry goods. beer, liquor, wine, paper products, office supply, small wares and other needed items. Secondary goals being maintaining Food and Beverage checkbooks and ensuring prompt and correct payment to vendors with in prescribed budget. Additionally, this role assists the accounting department though daily reconciliation of cash drops, due backs, and house banks.
High school diploma or GED.One to two years of general business experience, hotel accounting experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow employees.
Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction and multiplication
Must be able to make appropriate judgments regarding daily administrative and accounting duties.
