Medartis develops, manufactures, and distributes titanium screws and plates, surgical instruments, and system solutions for fracture fixation. We prioritize maintaining stringent quality standards, continuous development and innovation, and comprehensive service for physicians, staff, and patients.

The Purchase Order Processor will support Customer Service Representatives by receiving and processing purchase orders accurately and timely, resolving issues, and updating orders for invoicing. This role involves creating and sending accurate invoices to customers and working closely with our external customers and internal sales team. It serves as the initial contact point for purchase orders and invoice requests, requiring strong relationship-building skills.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage difficult customer situations promptly to resolve needs.
  2. Respond to requests from Customers and Sales Team, meeting deadlines.
  3. Receive purchase orders via email and enter them into SAP accurately and urgently.
  4. Research issues, resolve complaints, and support data requests by synthesizing complex information.
  5. Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
  6. Provide vendor setup information to hospitals and sales reps.
  7. Create and manage customer accounts, pricing, discounts, rebates, invoicing, and credits within SAP.
  8. Verify contract pricing and charges for services.
  9. Suggest improvements to customer experience and work processes.
  10. Build respectful relationships with customers and the sales team, gather purchase orders promptly, and address outstanding surgery cases without purchase orders.
  11. Cover for CSR’s during PTO.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  2. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  3. Highly organized with prioritization skills.
  4. Customer service-oriented (internal & external).
  5. Ability to develop relationships across all organizational levels.
  6. Self-starter capable of working independently.
  7. Experience working in a matrix environment and team settings.
  8. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, able to perform calculations.
  9. Effective time management, planning, and multitasking skills.
  10. High School Diploma required.
  11. At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales support, data entry, or invoicing.
  12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
