Job summary

Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend, WA is seeking a part-time Purchasing Clerk to assist in purchasing, distribution, materials management and resources for the facility. The role supports inventory control and hospital supply operations.

You will stock and check supplies in various hospital areas, enter receipts in the Evident system, print labels, and process shipping vouchers. Excellent communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with inventory, stocking, shipping & receiving.
• Basic knowledge of record keeping, typing, computers, inventory, ordering, stocking, labeling and issuing of supplies.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Check and stock supplies in designated areas of the hospital.
• Enter supplies received on purchase orders & order cards in Evident system.
• Print computer labels for Patient Charge Supplies and Label Supplies.
• Shipping: complete vouchers for hospital packages to be shipped.
• Distribute/store all incoming freight.
• Check packing slips against purchase orders; enter supplies received.
• Fill department supply requisitions and deliver; record quantities taken.
• Check for outdated inventory in warehouse/supply areas.
• Assist in yearly warehouse inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20.53 - $34.26 Hourly, Pay

$20.53 - $34.26 According to the union contract, BOE

Eligible for benefits: medical, dental, vision, & 403b retirement

Schedule: Part time - Monday- Friday 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Description: The Purchasing Clerk assists in purchasing, distributing, materials management & resources for the facility.

Responsibilities

• Checking and stocking supplies in designated areas in the hospital, cast closet – emergency dept. – med floor supply areas – medication room, etc.
• Supplies transferred from CS will be entered in Evident and charged to the appropriate department.
• Print computer labels for Patient Charge Supplies-Label Supplies.
• Shipping-Complete Voucher for Hospital Packages to be shipped.
• Distribute/store all incoming freight.
• Check packing slips against purchase orders, enter supplies received on purchase orders & order cards.
• Fill department supply requisitions and deliver. Enter amount taken from CS in Evident.
• Check all supplies for outdated inventory in warehouse/supply areas.
• Assist in yearly warehouse inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
