Job summary

Anaheim Union High School District is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to plan, evaluate, and implement pupil transportation services. The role supervises dispatching, vehicle maintenance coordination, and staff scheduling to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, reporting, and collaboration with vendors and district stakeholders to maintain compliance with regulations and district policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school with related coursework.
• Three years of supervisory experience in pupil transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain California bus driver certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, develop, and implement transportation functions within guidelines.
• Oversee and schedule work assignments for transportation staff.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of assigned personnel.
• Coordinate with vendors for driver and equipment needs.
• Monitor routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance for safety and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and manage department budgets and records.
• Facilitate meetings and communicate with stakeholders on transportation issues.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new transportation staff.
