Job summary

Prospectsonline is recruiting for a Behaviour Support role within a dedicated team at a mixed comprehensive school near Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days, with hours 8am–4pm (Mon–Thu) and 8am–3.30pm (Fri). Interviews scheduled for Thursday 22 October 2026.

The role involves mentoring pupils, promoting self-esteem and safeguarding procedures. Applicants must be patient, have a good sense of humour, and relate positively to young people needing help

Responsibilities

• Provide behaviour support to pupils, challenging and motivating them and promoting self-esteem.
• Work with pupils in behaviour support, mentoring and classroom assistance as part of a planned rota.
• Contribute to Time Away from School Community (TASC) and respond to incidents during the school day.
