Job summary

Rentyl Apartments is seeking a reliable Punch Tech / Porter to join the maintenance team in Florida. This hybrid role supports daily groundskeeping and the make-ready process for vacant apartments, ensuring cleanliness and appeal across the community.

You will work with the Service Manager to complete unit turns within company standards, keep common areas pristine, and provide excellent customer service to residents. Weekend/evening availability and after-hours on-call rotation may apply.

• Keep appliances, fixtures, walls, floors clean and visually appealing.
• Ensure safety and beauty through general upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with residents.
• Follow all safety policies and safe work practices.
• Weekend or evening availability; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Minor repairs in common areas and homes.
• Remove trash, debris, and furniture from homes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Punch Tech / Porter to join our maintenance team. This hybrid role plays a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appeal of our community. You will support both daily groundskeeping needs and the make‑ready process for vacant apartments.

Key Responsibilities

Make‑Ready / Punch Duties

• Perform all tasks required to bring vacated units to rent‑ready condition in a timely manner.


• Complete assigned service requests thoroughly, accurately, and on schedule.


• Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure unit turns are completed within company standards (typically within three days unless complexities arise).


• Read and follow equipment operating instructions and supply usage guidelines.

Porter / Groundskeeping Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of leasing offices, models, clubhouses, hallways, and all common areas.


• Ensure appliances, fixtures, windows, walls, flooring, and furnishings are clean, dust‑free, and visually appealing.


• Preserve the beauty and safety of the community through general upkeep, trash removal, and grounds maintenance.


• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with residents.


• Follow all company safety policies and safe work practices.


• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Expectations

• Weekend or evening availability as needed.


• Participation in the on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies.


• Minor repairs in common areas, vacant and occupied homes.


• Removing trash, debris, and furniture from homes.


• Other duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor and property manager.
