Rentyl Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Riverview, Florida. You will work with the Service Manager to keep units ready and address resident concerns with timely follow-ups and quality repairs.

Responsibilities include handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, preparing vacant units, and performing preventative maintenance to protect building value. On-call rotations and weekend/evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Availability for emergency situations with on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds frequently and 10–20 pounds constantly.
• Reliable transportation to work and on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with software and apps.
• Attention to detail and commitment to doing things right the first time.
• Service mentality.

Responsibilities

• Work with Service Manager to ensure vacant units are turned around within three days unless complexity arises.
• Oversee turnkey work of outside contractors in absence of Manager.
• Provide timely follow-ups and meticulous completion of maintenance tickets for residents.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Support preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Maintain building beauty and safety through general upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on-call for after-hour emergencies.

Rentyl Apartments is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Riverview!

Responsibilities

• Work with Service Manager to ensure that vacant units are made ready in a timely manner. Turns should be completed within three days unless there is an unforeseen complexity to the turn.


• In absence of Manager, oversee turn- key work of outside contractors


• Showing care and concern for our residents through timely follow ups and meticulous completion of their apartment service tickets


• Resolving maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair


• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements


• Preserving the value of the building by consistently executing on preventative maintenance programs


• Preserving the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance


• Providing residents with outstanding customer service


• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergencies
