Job summary

Accelera on the North Side of Chicago is hiring a Punch Press Setup Operator to configure and run punch press machinery, including four-slide and multi-slide equipment, ensuring quality production. Role requires 2–3 years’ setup/run experience and the ability to diagnose issues. Hair follicle screening is required.

Position offers a daytime schedule 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with potential for permanent placement after 720 hours, plus company retirement savings and paid time off benefits.

Job description

We are currently looking for skilled Punch Press Setup Operators to become part of our metal stamping facility situated on the North Side of Chicago.

In this role, you will manage the configuration and operation of punch press machinery, while also handling tasks related to four-slide and multi-slide equipment.

Professional Requirements

• Possess at least two to three years of background in the setup and running of punch presses.
• Prior familiarity with operating multi-slide or four-slide equipment is highly valued.
• Demonstrate the ability to diagnose technical issues and perform required machine calibrations to ensure optimal production quality.
• Successfully complete a hair follicle screening.

Role Specifications

• Compensation: $22 to $25 hourly.
• Shift Schedule: Daytime hours from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
• Work Site: North Side of Chicago.
