You will read blueprints, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and maintain safety and quality standards while keeping the work area organized and productive.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a punching press or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions, or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, or willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Learn and perform punch press setups, machine adjustments, and changeovers with training.
• Read and follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product dimensions.
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform minor machine maintenance.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
