Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

  • 6-9 months relevant experience.
  • Ability to use ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions, practice charts, specifications, schedule, variable controls, and measuring devices.
  • Experience using an Auto Can computer.
  • Ability to utilize a tape measure and read diagrams.
  • Judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding setup and operation sequences.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good attendance and performance record.

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Visually assisting forklift drivers to load aluminum/steel onto pallets.
  • Working from production work orders, forming, and packing products.
  • Sealing cartons using tapers, banders, hand staplers, foot staplers, etc.
  • Resupplying work areas with pallets.
  • Checking product quality, shape, feed length, surface defects, and labels.
  • Lubricating machines and refilling lubrication devices.
  • Disposing of scrap as instructed.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Completing paperwork and entering production data accurately and timely.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by leadership.

Position Details

  • Full-time position.
  • Location: Lancaster, PA.
  • Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM.
