Job summary

nVent is seeking a hands-on Punch/Laser Machine Operator for the second shift in Warwick, RI. You will set up, operate, and monitor Amada turret punch and laser equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect outputs, adjust tooling as needed, and communicate production concerns up the chain. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing skill development, with opportunities to learn advanced fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Communicate equipment, material, or production concerns to your Group Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and operational checks, including lubrication, tool upkeep, fluid replacement, pressure checks, and safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly dispose of scrap materials.
• Follow established quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines to help create a safe workplace for everyone.
• Operate material handling equipment to safely move materials throughout the production area.
• Share knowledge and assist in training team members when needed.

Build, Develop, and Keep Things Moving

As a second shift Punch/Laser Machine Operator, you'll have a meaningful role in producing high-quality products while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll help keep operations running smoothly, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure every product meets our quality standards.

What You'll Experience:

Operate Equipment & Solve Problems
