Job summary

City of Irving's Lake Chapman raw water system is seeking a skilled technician at the booster station near Princeton, Texas. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with some college or specialized training, plus two years of mechanical maintenance experience, CDL and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and pump curves; read/understand control systems and low voltage circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tasks in construction, maintenance, repair and servicing of water and wastewater systems.
• Oversee operation of pumps, motors, valves and related electrical equipment; SCADA troubleshooting.
• Coordinate activities with other departments, agencies and contractors; respond to trouble calls as needed.
