Job summary

Gulfshoresal is seeking a skilled technician for the Lake Chapman raw water system booster station 12 miles east of McKinney, TX. You will maintain pumps, motors and valves, troubleshoot SCADA issues, and coordinate with contractors across the water distribution and wastewater systems.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED with related training, plus two years of mechanical maintenance experience, electrical knowledge, and a valid Texas CDL.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with related training
• Two years of mechanical maintenance/repair experience
• Experience with electrical motors, control systems, pumps
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and pump curves
• Valid Texas Class A CDL and TCEQ licenses preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and operate pumps, motors, valves and related electrical equipment across water and wastewater systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and communications issues for SCADA
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments and contractors
• Respond to trouble calls after hours as needed
• Possess physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently
