Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to join our team in Boone, NC. This hands-on role involves operating a service truck, pumping septic systems, and delivering safe, professional service with minimal supervision.

The position offers a day shift, competitive pay of $24.00–$26.00 per hour, full benefits including health and 401(k), and opportunities for career advancement within an essential services leader.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and pass DOT drug screen.
• DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test required.
• Willingness to work in a drug-free environment.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defects or hazards and recommend options.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently while representing Wind River Environmental in the field.
