Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to join our team. You will drive a service truck, operate vacuum equipment, and pump septic tanks for residential and commercial sites, maintaining safety and high customer service standards.

Base pay is $27.00–$30.00 per hour with a day shift (6:00–7:00 AM). We offer health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan, plus opportunities for career growth within an essential services leader.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker endorsement preferred or willing to obtain.
• Able to drive manual transmission.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer literacy (email, internet).
• Must pass DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test.
• Willingness to work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently while representing Wind River Environmental in the field.
