Job summary

Wind River Environmental, LLC seeks a Pump Technician to perform residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste. You will operate a service truck, drive to sites in NC and nearby areas, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

This full-time role offers night shifts, competitive hourly pay, safety training, and a pathway for overtime and growth within a company serving residential and municipal clients along the East Coast.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
• No restrictions; capable of operating manual transmission.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• One year of professional commercial driving experience preferred.
• DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical, and road knowledge required.
• Must work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules per WRE and DOT requirements.
• Pre-trip and post-trip truck maintenance and readiness for each job.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction on-site.
• Identify issues with septic components and advise maintenance to customers.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork promptly as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate timely service.
• Suggest appropriate maintenance frequency to customers.
• Adhere to Wind River Environmental service protocols.
