Job summary

Wind River Environmental seeks a dependable Pump Technician to pump non-hazardous waste from septic systems, drive a service truck, and deliver safe, professional service on every job.

This day-shift role offers competitive pay, early start times (6:00–7:00 AM), and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k)). Base pay ranges $25.00-$27.00 per hour, with final compensation based on location, education, and experience.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL is required.
• Tanker Endorsement is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to drive manual transmission with no restrictions.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain supplies.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify defective components or hazards and propose service options.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently while representing Wind River Environmental.
