Doodie Calls, LLC in the Hiram, GA area is seeking a Portable Restroom Driver/Operator to run the pump truck on pre-determined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units and depositing their contents into the truck.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires 25+ years of age, a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to pull trailers. Overtime and weekend work are required during storm season; safety checks, routine maintenance, and logs are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pull trailers.
• 2+ years of required commercial driving experience; 5 years preferred.
• Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Able to work overtime and weekends during storm season.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route and deposits contents into the truck.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Facilitates maintenance with mechanics when needed.
• Transports waste to processing/disposal locations.
• Notifies dispatch of delays, unsafe sites, or breakdowns and documents the same.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Portable Restroom Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck.

Job Classification:

Full-time, non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Location:

Hiram, GA area

Pay Range:

$20 to $28 (Non CDL = $20-24, CDL=$25-28)

Responsibilities:

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle prior to embarking on the route.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
• Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documents the same.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to pull trailers
• 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years required
• Must be at least 25 years of age or older, due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck is required.
• Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends) when needed.
• Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
