Job summary

Doodie Calls, LLC is hiring a Portable Restroom Driver/Operator to operate the pump truck on predetermined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units and depositing contents into the truck.

The role is full-time and non-exempt under the FLSA, based in the Adkins, TX area. Compensation ranges from $20 to $28 per hour depending on CDL status and experience, with overtime during storm seasons.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck.
• 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years required.
• Experience with pump trucks and vac trailers preferred.
• Must be located in the Adkins, TX Area.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season.

Responsibilities

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle prior to embarking on the route.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documents the same.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Portable Restroom Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck.

Job Classification:

Full-time, non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Location:

Adkins, TX area

Pay Range:

Non CDL - $20 to $24 and CDL - $25 to $28

Responsibilities:

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle prior to embarking on the route.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
• Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documents the same.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to pull trailers preferred
• CDL license preferred
• Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission
• Industry experience, water transfer and experience with vac trailers preferred
• 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years required
• Must be at least 25 years of age or older, due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck is required.
• Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends) when needed.
• Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
