Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience as a TAC Technician or Rod Pump Technician.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in mechanical tools, testing equipment, and basic inventory practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Precision Assembly & Testing: Assemble and test cleaned pump and tubing anchor components using a variety of hand tools and testing equipment to ensure all components meet quality standards.
  • Detailed Inspections: Inspect barrels, plungers, valve cages, balls, seats, and related components for accuracy, wear, and functionality.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate specialized testing equipment, including ball and seat testers, vacuum testers, and air micrometers, to evaluate component performance and reliability.
  • Quality Assessment: Assess the condition of parts to determine suitability for reuse or replacement, balancing performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Support: Assist with warehouse operations and inventory management as needed to support efficient workflows.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring tools, machines, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Flexibility & Team Contribution: Be flexible and contribute to team objectives and company goals by performing additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Rod Pump Technician is responsible for the assembly, inspection, testing, and evaluation of rod pump and tubing anchor components to ensure quality, reliability, and performance standards are met. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Precision Assembly & Testing: Assemble and test cleaned pump and tubing anchor components using a variety of hand tools and testing equipment to ensure all components meet quality standards.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience as a TAC Technician or Rod Pump Technician required.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in mechanical tools, testing equipment, and basic inventory practices related to pump equipment and parts.

Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and move 50+ pounds on a consistent basis.

Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Additional Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age

A valid driver’s license required

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position is performed in a shop and warehouse environment and may involve standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and working with mechanical equipment. Use of appropriate PPE is required.
