Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, professional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
