Hire Up Staffing Services in North Houston partners with a reputable industrial manufacturer to hire a Pump Service Technician. The role focuses on keeping wastewater and industrial pumping operations running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, operate crane trucks, read blueprints, and ensure projects finish on time with solid teamwork and reliable craftsmanship. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing water or wastewater pumps and diesel components.
• Experience operating a crane truck (required).
• Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• A good attitude and commitment to doing the job right every time.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wastewater, water transfer, and diesel-driven pumps.
• Handle trailer-mounted and skid pumps, ensuring they're ready for the field.
• Operate crane trucks and specialty tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Communicate job details clearly with supervisors and teammates.
• Prepare equipment for transport and finish each job on time and within budget.
