Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that pump systems are installed correctly.
• Conduct pre-functional testing and commissioning of pump systems to ensure that they are operating correctly.
• Disassemble and repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pump systems.
• Conduct flow tests on pumps to ensure proper operation.
• Document and report on the results of testing and commissioning to the Customer.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records. (Writing/ Photographs)
• Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Travel within mid-Atlantic states.

Job Summary

Our company is currently seeking a skilled Pump Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and operation of pumps and their associated systems. The Pump Service Technician will work on a variety of electric and pneumatic pumps.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that pump systems are installed correctly.
• Conduct pre-functional testing and commissioning of pump systems to ensure that they are operating correctly.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical skills
• Experience working as a Pump Service Technician or similar role
• Trade or Vocational School Training
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to provide quotations.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to travel within mid-Atlantic states.
