Job summary

Silvertip Completion Services in Alaska is seeking a Service Operator to safely execute pressure pumping and completion tasks. You will rig up/rig down, operate and maintain the pump truck, and keep accurate operation records at the wellsite and in the shop.

You'll mentor crew members, monitor equipment for efficiency, ensure compliance with safety guidelines and FMCSA rules, and support shipments and data recording throughout the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of service operator experience
• Rig up/rig down of pumps per manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate records of operations and inspections

Responsibilities

• Rig up/rig down pumps and data recording equipment at service location
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot pump truck and equipment
• Monitor and adjust processes to maximize quality and efficiency
• Assist with shipping, loading and unloading of equipment in compliance with regulations
• Drive company vehicles and equipment safely and legally
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations to pressure pumping operations

Job Description:

Summary Under direct supervision, responsible for the safe execution of operations in all aspects of Pressure pumping and completion services which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck at the service location, assisting with all operations both in the shop and at the wellsite. Operates and maintains the assigned pump truck and equipment, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.

• Coach and Mentor Service Operator
• Installation / disassembly (rig up/rig down) of pumps and data recording equipment in accordance with original manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment.
• Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts process or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.
• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties. Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures with full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements. Verifies and documents identity and quantity of all equipment.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots pump truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
• Drives Company vehicles & equipment: pump trucks, iron trailers, pickup truck, pickup truck with trailer, data van
• Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to pressure pumping operations
• Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, & equipment; Troubleshoot tool, equipment, and truck problems; Rebuild pumps in the shop and in the field
• Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and liaise with technicians on Job Qualification Has worked as Service Operator for a minimum of 12 months
