Job summary

FCX Performance in New Hudson, MI seeks an experienced repair mechanic to disassemble, inspect, and assemble centrifugal and other pumps in a clean, well-lit facility on first shift.

Duties include field and shop disassembly, inspection, rebuilding, and diagnostics; specify parts and labor and provide written findings; assist with assembly, testing, minor plumbing, and shipping/receiving backup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and shop disassembly, inspection, rebuilding and diagnostics of pumps and related equipment.
• Specify parts and labor needed and provide a written report of findings from troubleshooting.
• Assist with assembly/fabrication, minor plumbing, testing, and installations as needed.
• Provide backup support in shipping and receiving as required.
