Otterstedt & Moran LLC is seeking a skilled Pump Repair Technician to join the team in Lorton, VA. The role offers a starting pay of $85,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. You will diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble various pump types, using precision tools to ensure manufacturer spec tolerances.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Pump Repair Technician
• Must have a Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record
• Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues in centrifugal, positive displacement, and specialty pumps
• Disassemble, inspect, and assess pump components for wear or damage
• Repair or replace seals, bearings, shafts, impellers, and gaskets
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Reassemble pumps to manufacturer specifications and tolerances
• Conduct pressure testing and performance testing to ensure proper operation
• Align pumps and motors using laser or dial alignment tools
• Document inspection findings, repairs performed, and parts used
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with field service calls and on-site troubleshooting as needed
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines to supervisors or customers
