Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Pump and Power Technician 1 to load and unload equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime on job sites. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork and hands-on problem solving across power, HVAC and pumping equipment.

You will work indoors or outdoors as required, lifting 25 pounds or more. Qualified candidates typically have 1-3 years of repair/maintenance experience with generators, diesel pumps and related gear.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with repairing and maintaining power/pump equipment.
• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater, HVAC and diesel pumps.
• Understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and work indoors/outdoors

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and prepare it for service.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Identify and report safety issues; work to minimize downtime.
• Follow procedures and cooperate with team to meet job goals
