The Rapid Group is seeking an experienced Pump & Motor Mechanic in White Plains, NY to repair and service AC/DC electromechanical motors and equipment onsite. You will read scopes, disassemble and inspect components, reassemble with bearings and seals, and perform pretests to ensure safety and quality.

You must have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to diagnose issues, and own basic tools. Valid license and ability to travel may be required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must supply own basic mechanical tools up to 1 inch.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug test.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret work scopes to determine job status, work authorizations and limitations, reported problems, and expected serviceability.
• Disassemble basic and routine electromechanical equipment while identifying parts, configurations, and component conditions.
• Properly mark and identify components, take required photos, and complete all documentation accurately.
• Assemble basic and routine pumps, motors, and electromechanical equipment, including ball and roller bearings and mechanical seals.
• Perform pretesting of electrical and mechanical components and ensure proper lubrication per customer standards.
• Conduct basic electrical and mechanical testing and document results accordingly.
• Troubleshoot known or suspected mechanical and electrical issues
