Job summary

GD Energy Products is seeking a Development Engineer in Tulsa, OK to join the Engineering department. This full-time role focuses on pump consumables development, including valves, seats, packing, seals, pistons, and liners, delivering high-performance solutions for oil and gas applications.

You will lead end-to-end product development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure designs meet durability and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in product development and engineering support.
• Additional plus experiences: Pump design and application, oilfield pressure pumping, statistical analysis, finite element analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop advanced pump assemblies and components.
• Lead engineering efforts from concept through product launch
• Troubleshoot and sustain existing products to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and customer support, to provide technical expertise and support project goals.
• Ensure all designs meet performance, quality, and durability standards for severe-duty applications.
