This position will focus on consumables for our pumping products including valves & seats, packing, seals, pistons, liners, and other high volume frequently replaced components. The consumables development engineer will design, develop innovative pump consumable products and technology solutions that deliver superior performance to the oil and gas industry. They will oversee end-to-end management of product development and improvement projects, from their initial stages to completion. This includes cross-functional collaboration and project execution with various teams across the organization and our customer teams.
At GDEP, the Development Engineer plays a critical role in researching, developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting high-performance pump assemblies and components for an industry-leading company. This role requires applying sound engineering principles to drive innovation and ensure product reliability in severe-duty applications.
The Development Engineer will take ownership of the full technical product development cycle—from concept generation through product launch—while providing technical support to customers and manufacturing teams. Success in this role requires collaborative problem-solving, cross-functional teamwork, and a commitment to delivering robust, high-quality products that meet the toughest demands.
