Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator for New Brighton, MN. You will use hand and power tools to assemble all components of pumps per bill of material, test the assembly to documented specifications and properly package the product.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and using blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting, lifting and lowering up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and test the assembly to the documented specifications and packing products.
• Support and promote 5S in the workplace.
• Willingly contribute to the development of better methods and increased daily output of production.
• Offer ideas and suggestions for improving Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.
