Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator for 1st shift in New Brighton, MN. You will assemble components, test assemblies to specifications, and pack products, ensuring quality and efficiency on the line.

In this role you will promote 5S and contribute to improving methods and daily output while supporting Safety and Health initiatives on the production floor. The position requires physical fitness and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and using blueprints is required.
• Experience using hand and power tools is required.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering up to 50 pounds.

You Will

• Responsible for assembling components, and testing the assembly to the documented specifications and packing products
• Support and promote 5S in the workplace
• Willingly contributes to the development of better methods and increased daily output of production.
• Offers ideas and suggestions for improving our Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs

Key Qualifications

• Experience reading and using blueprints is required
• Experience using hand and power tools is required
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required on the production floor

Shift/Hours

• 1st shift: 4:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Thursday
• Must be available to work overtime as needed

Compensation

• The hourly pay for this role is $20.00/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
