Job summary

PSG, part of the Dover Corp Pumps & Process Solutions group, is seeking an assembler for its California production line. The role involves final pump assembly, kitting, testing, and packaging, with emphasis on quality, safety, and lean practices.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be mechanically inclined. Experience with air/hand tools and production environments is a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using air and hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Assembly or production experience a plus.
• Packaging and palletizing in production experience a plus.
• Ability to learn with no prior product assembly experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build, including kitting, sub-assembly, and boxing of pump.
• Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures.
• Perform TPM on department tools and equipment; Hydro-test on required work orders and capture certificates.
• Ensure duties performed meet company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Capture production logs and report to Supervisor and Lead daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracies by transacting work orders and move orders properly and completely in Oracle.
• Responsible for completing priorities set forth by the lead and supervisor for the day.
• Must comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Performs all duties as assigned by the department lead to support production.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and continual OH&S improvement; adhere to policy and ethics.
• Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in daily work.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures and rules.
• Work overtime as required.
• All other duties assigned.
