Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Assembly Associate in Alsip, IL for pump assembly and parts picking within a cell-based manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting team safety and continuous improvement.

The 1st shift runs Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with OT and weekends as needed. Starting pay is $22.85 per hour, onsite with a comprehensive benefits package and union support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Fit and adjust parts to tolerances and ensure quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Identify defects and elevate as required.
• Review documentation and confirm production quantities in SAP.
