Job summary

Paycom is seeking a production operator to set up and operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures. You will read blueprints and diagrams to position machinery and adjust settings to meet specifications.

The role requires loading raw materials, monitoring process parameters, and documenting observations. You will maintain quality, follow MSDS guidelines, and participate in shift changes while keeping the area safe and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read gauges and record measurements accurately.
• Ability to read and follow MSDS and operating manuals.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials.
• Monitor and document pull force, speed, temperature, and resin level.
• Observe machines and cores to detect malfunctions.
• Notify supervisors of discrepancies or material issues.
• Prepare and clean equipment at shift change to minimize downtime.
• Maintain quality by inspecting products against specs hourly.
• Read gauges and logs and complete process records.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow MSDS guidelines.
