Job summary

Iten Industries, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Pultrusion Operator to set up, operate, and monitor pultrusion machines for fiberglass/composite products. You will ensure continuous production, quality, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour plus $2 per hour production incentive, with a $1 per hour shift differential on 2nd shift. We are building 8-hour daytime shifts to 8-hour schedules.

Qualifications

• Trains under supervision of experienced press operator/trainers.
• Assists in setting up and operating presses.
• Obtains schedule and work orders for production.
• Prepares and releases materials for production.
• Performs quality checks on material.
• Prepares product for shipping.
• Operates tow motor when necessary.
• Assists others with troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate pultrusion machines per specifications.
• Monitor production line to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain quality standards and safe work practices.
• Record dimensions and verify product integrity.
• Coordinate with team on material preparation.
• Assist with setup and changeovers as needed.

Job Description Summary:

We are currently running Monday-Thursday on 10 hour days. We are building up staff to begin running 8 hours shifts.

The Pultrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring pultrusion machines used to produce fiberglass or composite materials according to production specifications. This position ensures continuous operation of the production line, maintains quality standards, and performs routine checks to verify product dimensions and integrity. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Trains and works under the supervision of experienced press operator/trainers;
• Assists in setting up and operating presses;
• Obtains schedule and work orders to be used in production process;
• Prepares and releases materials for production;
• Performs quality checks on material;
• Prepares product for shipping;
• Operates tow motor when necessary;
• Assists other employees in the department with troubleshooting issues;
• Other duties as may be assigned.
• Must be safety oriented.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
