Job summary

Healthy Kingsport is seeking Pultrusion Machine Operators for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will record daily production data, identify material requirements on machines, and thread materials as needed to keep the line running efficiently.

In a manufacturing plant with exposure to resins, glass, and chemicals, you will work a full shift, maintain quality, and support team troubleshooting. Completion of training and safety protocols are required.

• Completion of new employee training.
• Pass new employee testing.

Responsibilities

• Record daily production data accurately and completely in production sheets, logbooks, MACT books.
• Identify material requirements on machines.
• Add and thread material as needed.
• Proven ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures and gauges.
• Ability to understand Spec sheets.
• Continually inspect process and troubleshoot with supervision.
• Ability to identify scrap.
• Efficiently clean machines.
