Job summary

Xcimer Energy in Denver, CO is seeking a Pulsed Power Simulation & Modeling Engineer to model and simulate pulsed power systems, collaborating with design engineers.

You will validate models with real data, support experiments, and help translate simulation results into manufacturing-ready workflows. 2+ years experience and strong cross‑disciplinary communication are required; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2+ years with field solver/particle-in-cell/circuit simulation codes.
• Strong communication across disciplines and departments.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. national, permanent resident, or approved refugee/asylee.

Responsibilities

• Generate models of systems and components with pulsed power design engineers.
• Create, optimize and validate models of complex physical processes.
• Aid in experiment design for validation of models against data.
• Enhance workflow from concept to final print based on simulation optimizations.
