Job summary

Xcimer Energy in Denver, CO is looking for a Pulsed Power Simulation & Modeling Engineer to create models for cutting-edge pulsed power systems. This full-time, onsite role involves using multi-physics solvers for design optimization. Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with field solver/particle-in-cell/circuit simulation codes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted.
• Mechanical design skills – knowledge of GD&T principles a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate models of systems and components.
• Create, optimize, and validate models of physical processes.
• Design experiments for validation against real-world data.
• Enhance workflow from concept to final print based on simulations.

Skills

Strong communication skills across disciplines

Proficiency in COMSOL

Proficiency in SolidWorks or NX

Knowledge of electromagnetic field principles

Proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB

Education

B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
