Job summary

Fuse is seeking an Electrical Engineer to push the boundaries of pulsed-power technology for fusion energy. You will design, build, and test DAQ systems and PCB-based control solutions as part of a team tackling a monumental engineering challenge.

Responsibilities include developing embedded hardware and control architectures, performing R&D, and writing technical specifications. Occasional travel to Fuse locations and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years designing PCB schematics and layouts in Altium or equivalent.
• 1+ years simulating circuits with SPICE.
• 1+ years designing control processes and architectures with sensing and actuation.
• 1+ years configuring and managing DAQ systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test DAQ systems for pulsed-power facilities.
• Design and assemble PCBs for control systems and diagnostics.
• Diagnose and analyze electrical components and systems performance.
• Develop control architectures spanning sensing, actuation, embedded hardware.
• Conduct applied R&D across electrical engineering and pulsed-power systems.
• Write specifications and technical reports; support build and test cycles.
