Job summary

Domtar is seeking a Finished Products Shift Supervisor in Ashdown, AR to supervise hourly staff in pulp production and coordinate daily operations.

This role reports to the A1 and Pulp Dryer Superintendent and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in pulp/papermaking, a college degree preferred, and excellent communication plus resource planning skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pulp/papermaking experience.
• College degree preferred; if no degree, must have passed TABE, CRC or Nowlin exam.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Must be able to prioritize well and allocate resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly pulp production staff and coordinate daily activities.
• Report to A1 and Pulp Dryer Superintendent.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity through planning and delegation.
