Job summary

Domtar's Ashdown, Arkansas facility is seeking a Finished Products Shift Supervisor to provide first-level supervision of hourly pulp production staff and coordinate daily activities. The role reports to the A1 and Pulp Dryer Superintendent.

We require a minimum of 5 years in pulp/papermaking, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize resources. College degree is preferred; if no degree, TABE/CRC/Nowlin exams may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pulp/papermaking experience or comparable experience.
• College degree preferred; if no degree must have successfully passed the TABE, CRC or Nowlin exam
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions
• Must be able to prioritize well and assign resources appropriately

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees engaged in pulp production at the Finished Products area.
• Coordinate daily activities and workflows to ensure production targets.
• Report to the A1 and Pulp Dryer Superintendent and support safety and quality initiatives.
