Pulmonary Intensivist opening in Bettendorf, Iowa

Located in the Quad Cities
Sleep optional

Details:

• Full-time, permanent opening
• Opportunity to practice inpatient and outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic consisting of 2 Medical Assistants, 1 LPN, 1 RN, 8 Advanced Practice Providers, and 6 Physicians
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced clinical and non-clinical staff familiar with the patients and the community
• Full-time position with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling to ensure patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR for improved care coordination

Responsibilities:

• Manage 20-25 patients per day across inpatient and outpatient shifts
• Offsite call schedule for inpatient service line, covered by APPs at night
• Perform office procedures such as spirometry, pulmonary, sleep medicine, bronchoscopies, navigational, and robotic procedures
• Participate in monthly comprehensive lung nodule program meetings
• Collaborate as a team member to improve community health
• Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate patient information to make informed care decisions
• Maintain a patient-focused, friendly, and collaborative approach
• Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonology and/or Sleep Medicine
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license in Illinois and Iowa
• Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe medications as necessary
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• Open to new graduates

• Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $380,000 - $590,000, with potential to exceed based on performance
