Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or eligible.
• Current DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for pulmonary diseases including COPD, asthma, ILD.
• Diagnose and manage sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests (PFTs, sleep studies).
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR.
• Collaborate with PCPs and specialists for coordinated care.
• Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule.

Position Summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled, board-certified/board-eligible general Pulmonologist with experience in Sleep Medicine to join our thriving outpatient practice in Linden, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.

• Diagnose, treat, and manage sleep-related disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.

• Conduct patient consultations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and sleep studies.

• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO).

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine is required.

• Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.

• Current DEA registration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
