The Staff Nurse on the Universal Medicine/Pulmonary Unit at University of Kentucky delivers safe, compassionate nursing care to adults with acute and chronic conditions. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

This on-site role requires an active RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), and BLS. Weekend shifts are part of the schedule, with opportunities for professional development and patient-centered care.

Competenze

• Active Kentucky RN license or valid compact state license.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, valid 6+ months after employment.
• ADN degree required; BSN preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult patients.
• Assess, plan, administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and educate patients.
• Supervise Nursing Care Technicians and ensure patient safety.
