Job summary

University of Kentucky Healthcare (UKHC) in Lexington, KY is seeking an RN for the Chandler 5 Main Acute Care unit. The RN will provide adult care across medical/surgical conditions, performing assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care while ensuring patient satisfaction and safety.

The role requires an ADN, Kentucky RN license, and BLS. It includes two 12-hour night shifts with weekend WEPP, and a full-time schedule. BSN is preferred for applicants.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license and ADN required.
• Temporary Work Permit or Provisional License acceptable.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, document, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to improve outcomes.
