Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for the Pulmonary Stepdown unit in Asheville, NC. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with pre- and post-operative nursing support. The ideal candidate has ADN, one year RN experience, NC licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, noting changes.
• Document care delivered and medications given in the medical record.
• Perform prescribed medications administration and monitor patient response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
